What is the difference between a tango and a milonga?
What distinguish milonga from tango are its style and rhythm. Milonga is less complex (though there are numerous milonga styles, some more complicated than others), yet it's also faster paced ( a legacy of the habanera's rapid beat). This means milonga dancers take smaller steps more rapidly than with tango.
