SERVICE DETAILS
FENIKS provides therapy and counselling for people of all ages from the Central Eastern European Community.
When working with adults the following services are available:
- General consultation and advice
- Individual therapy and counselling
- Couple and family therapy
- Group therapy
Particular areas that may be addressed include:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Personality disorder
- Domestic abuse
- Drug or alcohol misuse
- Difficulties with relationships
- Low self-esteem or lack of confidence
- Adapting to new surroundings
Individual therapy and counselling sessions are also available to children and adolescents. These may address the following areas of need:
- Learning difficulties
- Anxiety
- Behavioural issues
- Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
- Eating disorders
- Drug or alcohol misuse
- Relationships and social issues
In order to meet its charitable purposes, Feniks offers two-fold services:
Paid – the individual sessions cost starts at £30 and couple counselling £50
By donation – for clients in a difficult financial situation our counsellors offer 8 sessions on voluntary basis.
If you would like to refer a client for the voluntary counselling, please fill in the referral form at http://www.feniks.org.uk/referrals. Please mind that depending on availability of the client, the waiting list might be 1-3 months long.
